No matter how stressful your life seems, there’re steps you can take to relieve the pressure and regain control. Here are some ideas for manage and reduce your stress level;

  1. Dzikr and leave the world behind you– As a muslim, when i feel overwhelmed and down with stress, i always remember my grandma tips: remember Allah, take a wudhu and do dzikr. As Allah said: “So, remember Me, I will remember you; be grateful to Me and deny Me not” (Al Qur’an 2: 152). No matter how bad you perceive your situation to be and how stressed you are, never give up on Allah.
  2. Sabr & Shalat– “Seek help through Sabr and Shalat” (Al Qur’an, 2:45). Patience help us keep our mind and attitude towards our difficulties.
  3. Figure out where the stress is coming from- A journal or a diary can help you identify the regular stressor in your life. Each time you feel stressed, keep track of it in you journal or diary. Note down the date, time, and place of each stressful episode, and note what you were doing, who you were with, and how you felt. By getting specific and have a record of them, you’re one step closer to getting organized and taking action.

Not only reducing your stress level, it may help you to reduce fatigue, improve concentration levels and the physical ability to fight disease. I usually exercising every morning for 20-30minutes and i feel it’s a great way to start my day.
