Warm Lemon Water

How do you get yourself going each day? Do you drink coffee first thing in the morning? Do you eat food shortly after you wake up? Do you workout right away?

 

I have been drinking the warm lemon water every am for the last year.

Here’s how I use lemon juice for cleansing every day: Drink the juice of one lemon in one cup of warm water first thing in the morning (on an empty stomach). Make sure to wait 30 minutes before eating breakfast, as this will ensure your body gets the most energy and nutrients from the food you eat.

 

This relaxing ritual is a great way to start my day and get my body working. Additionally, I find this simple drink incredibly warming and grounding.

 

And I have not had a cold, flu or stomachache anymore, Alhamdulillah.
